Nigerians Without Prepaid Meters Should Stop Paying Electricity Bills - FG .
The NERC has declared that electricity consumers that were not provided with prepaid meters as at March 1 should stop paying electricity bills presented by DISCOs on the basis of estimated billing methodology. The commission also ordered the DISCOs not to disconnect any such customer that refuses to pay the bills and further advised such customers to report to the commission if disconnected. The NERC said the new directive is in line with its mandate of protecting the rights of customers.

Scientists Want to Pay You N5m to Lie in Bed for 60 Days.
Lie in bed for 60 days, earn N5m. That’s the job schedule.
Well, no one needs a university degree to qualify.
Nor does anyone lack the requisite experience for a 60-day job that will fetch them a cool and effortless N5m.
Call it the dream job and you’ll be right; because all you need do is to lie down in bed and simply allow scientists to fuss over you! And then the pay cheque greets you ‘Good morning’ on the 60th day!
This is no April Fool gimmick, as the researchers at the Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology in Toulouse, France, have expressed the willingness to pay £13,000 to participants, just to find out the effects of prolonged weightlessness on the body.
It was reported by the French newspaper 20 Minutes.
Half of the participants will take drugs to counteract the effects of weightlessness, while the other group won’t.
The idea is that lying down for that long will mimic the effects of being weightless on the body.
The coordinating doctor, Dr. Arnaud Beck, says, “The idea of this study is to reproduce the weightlessness of the International Space Station, ISS.
“During the first two weeks, our scientists will do a whole series of tests and measurements on the volunteers.
“This will be followed by a 60-day period during which they must remain in bed, the head slightly inclined downwards at less than six degrees.

One day she called me up and told me her mum will like to meet me has she has told her a lot about me. I was so happy to hear that and we agreed on the next weekend because of our work.
I went to visit her parent, they were good people, her father was very nice and welcoming but I noticed that her mother call the shut in their house but it was not a business of mine if they are all happy together and also noticed her mum was not really happy to have me around so I was not surprised when Queen called me the following day to tell me that she cannot continue with the relationship because her mum said she (mum) does not like me.
She said "I love you so much, but I cannot go ahead if my mum does not like you".
I heard she is still single and waiting for mummy's choice after five years now.

Robert Kelly's Live BBC Interview Gatecrashed by Kids.
Live television always leaves room for hilarious gaffes - which is exactly what happened when a BBC debate on South Korea was interrupted by the interviewee's children.
The hilarious footage shows expert Robert Kelly, an associate professor of Political Science at Pusan National University in Busan, handling serious questions on the country's president, Park Geun-hye, being ousted from power.
But suddenly, a toddler bursts into the room in a bright yellow top and performs a comical dance behind the Cleveland, Ohio, native.
Kelly, 44, who was born and studied in the US before moving to Korea as a political science professor, focuses entirely on the camera as he attempts to blindly hand off his daughter, who is clearly curious as to who he is talking to.
And his parental problems soon double as a baby also excitedly makes his way into the room under his own power in a walker.
Evicted #BBNaija Housemate, Gifty, Finally Admits Marriage.
Before her eviction, a man who identified himself as Augustine Akuna, who claimed to be a cousin to her supposed husband, released photos of Gifty's wedding.
Gifty, who was evicted from the reality show on Day 28, in a series of interviews, denied ever being married, stressing that the rumour would only make her more famous.
But now, the 23-year-old actress, in an interview with Hiptv, said the period she was married was a dark period in her life that she would not want to go back to.
She said, "I will say it here and now that the marriage issue was kind of real; I was once married, it was a dark part of my life that I don't want to ever go back to.
"My advice to every young girl out there; before you go into a marriage, you have to be physically, mentally, emotionally and physiologically matured because I was naive," she said.
Akuna had accused the former housemate of deceiving her fans by claiming that she was not married.
He further alleged that the couple had irreconcilable differences over Gifty's "cheating lifestyle while still in her husband's house."
Gifty, who had a controversial time in the house with her string of kisses, multinational accent and comments about not knowing Nigerian celebrities, Falz and Banky W, left the house empty handed.
She was the fourth to be evicted from the show after Soma, Miyose and Coco Ice. (NAN)

Eating Yogurt May Help You Curb Symptoms of Depression Naturally.
Depression is a major mood disorder, which succumbs its victim into feeling empty from within. Many people often commit the blunder of ignoring the symptoms of depression as just a by-product of 'feeling low'. But if this low feeling starts hindering your daily activities like sleeping, working and eating, then it can be a cause of major concern. One must head for treatment at the soonest in such cases.
However, there is a lot you can do to battle depression on a personal level too. Like talking to friends and family to vent your anxieties or indulging in recreational activities to keep your spirits up. A recent study suggests having yogurt can also help ease the symptoms of depression
However, there is a lot you can do to battle depression on a personal level too. Like talking to friends and family to vent your anxieties or indulging in recreational activities to keep your spirits up. A recent study suggests having yogurt can also help ease the symptoms of depression
The Study Conducted by the Team
In the study, conducted on mice, the researchers have discovered a specific mechanism for how the lactobacillus bacteria affect mood, providing a direct link between the health of the gut microbiome and mental health.
For the study, published in the journal Scientific Reports, the team induced depression symptoms in mice to analyse their composition of the gut microbiome and found that the major change was the loss of lactobacillus. With the loss of lactobacillus came the onset of depression symptoms. Conversely, feeding the mice lactobacillus with their food returned them to almost normal, the researchers said.
"A single strain of lactobacillus, is able to influence mood," Gaultier observed.
In addition, the study found that the amount of lactobacillus in the gut affects the level of a metabolite in the blood -- called kynurenine -- which has been shown to drive depression. When lactobacillus was diminished in the gut, the levels of kynurenine went up -- and depression symptoms set in.
While there is no harm in people with depression eating yogurt, people receiving treatment for depression should not stop taking their medications without consulting their physicians, the researchers suggested. Based on the findings, the researchers plan to begin studying the effect in humans as soon as possible.
SEASON 7 IS COMING! 'GAME OF THRONES' UNVEILS 16 JULY RETURN
More than 100,000 people watched the hour-long Facebook Live stream of a block of ice being melted slowly by blasts of fire. It was interrupted by a few technical difficulties when the stream cut to black.
The highly anticipated seventh season of Game of Thrones, taglined 'The Great War is Here', has been moved to summer from its usual spring air date this year as filming of the show was delayed to capture scenes of winter for the show's fictional realm of Westeros.
Emmy-winning Game of Thrones, based on George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books, follows the epic fantasy of a multi-generational struggle for control of the Iron Throne seat of the Seven Kingdoms.
A teaser trailer released by HBO on Thursday shows the crests of the warring families crumbling to ash, with voices of key characters heard speaking phrases from past seasons in a timeline of events that have led to the battle.
At the very end, the voice of resurrected Night Watch leader Jon Snow says, "The same thing coming for all of us. There's only one war that matters. The great war. And it is here."
Game of Thrones is the most-watched show on Time Warner Inc's premium cable network HBO, averaging around 25 million viewers for its sixth season. The saga will conclude with its eighth season next year.

'I'm Married Now': Adele Confirms Marriage to Longtime Partner at Concert
British pop star Adele has ended months of speculation by confirming that she is married.
Famous for award-winning songs on heartbreak, the singer told concertgoers in Brisbane that she was “married now” before launching into a soulful rendition of 2011 breakthrough hit “Somebody Like You.”
“That feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth,” she said, in a video posted online by a fan.
“And I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now,” she added.
Konecki is the co-founder of Life water and its charity Drop4drop, which promotes global access to clean water.
Rumors that two had secretly wed have been swirling since January this year, when the Grammy winner was spotted in LA wearing a plain gold band on her ring finger.
At the time, Adele would not confirm that they had in fact married.
But at the Grammy Awards in February, where she became the first artist to win the three most sought after awards — Album, Song and Record of the Year — she let slip by thanking her “husband” alongside her son.
Adele’s ballads on love lost and heartbreak have made her one of the most successful artists of the 21st century.
“I’ve found my next person,” she told the crowd in Brisbane.
Drake's Dad Wants “More Life” As Much As We Do.
Earlier, Graham posted the More Life artwork, along with the caption. “Tonight’s the night.” Those fans who immediately dropped their phones and started fist pumping and doing back flips might have missed the follow up sentence which says, “I will be performing at Delilah.”
In a split second, 6 God fans’ hopes were dashed. Whether it was his intent or not, Papa Drake definitely had some people tricked. “This is extremely misleading smh,” one IG user commented. “Damn why you trolling,” another person added.
Drizzy has been doing some low-key trolling of his own. After first implying More Life would drop in December 2016, he hinted at the project dropping in late February, while on his current Boy Meets World Tour. “I want to thank y’all for a beautiful first show. Thank you very much.
I really do appreciate you,” he told the crowd at his first stop in Amsterdam. “And you know what the good news is? I know we got three more shows in Amsterdam right? But the best part about that is if you coming back to any more shows, More Life is going to be out, we can just do some whole new shit, you know what I’m saying,” he added.
Drake had another show in Amsterdam on Feb. 26, which came and went without the project coming out. He will close out his tour with two shows in the city on March 27 and March 28.
Yesterday, he got fans riled up again after a misleading IG post had people thinking the project would drop on March 4.

How “to Slow Down” Your Electric Meter in 2 Times and Legally Pay 50% Less For Energy.
I work as electrical worker for 20 years and recently got grade 6. As long as I could remember, all this time the average prices for electricity are rising. But trust me, the prices for electricity are inflated artificially! That’s why I was always trying to trick my electric meter: everything from putting a paper clip or a magnet to spinning it backwards.
I have a big family with three kids, so we use a lot of electricity. My wife needs to do a lot of laundry for our two babies: diapers, baby's loose jackets etc. The older is constantly on his computer. So to say, I have to confess I had to steal electricity from the government for a long time…
We are constantly out of money, so I have to earn on the side installing and repairing electrical wiring in private houses and apartments. Once I was working in the apartment and noticed an interesting thing. I installed the electricity meter and electric wiring, and the owner started room repairs. He was sawing, drilling etc, and the next day the electricity meter showed only 700 Watt. How could that be possible? After all it should have been 2-3 times more!
I decided to talk to the owner, and he showed me a device that reduces electricity use. His son-in-law brought it from abroad. I couldn’t believe my eyes and my ears! It was a shame I didn’t know this elementary physics before.
After that I started searching information about Electricity Saving Box and found this scientific article, that explains everything in detail. Now there was no longer any doubt.
This device is small, about the size of the ordinary night-lamp; it is plugged into the socket closest to the electricity meter and immediately starts to operate, absolutely quietly! It is called - ELECTRICITY SAVING BOX. As I understood, we can’t buy it in an ordinary shop. That makes sense because it’s contrary to the interests of government. But we are paying taxes, and I would say we pay a lot! So I think this is not only rational and proper saving - it’s fair enough.
I’ve been browsing the internet, and finally I found a website selling this device! Here’s a link to online shop, they are exclusive suppliers of this device for our country. If you are interested in the principles of operation of this device, check the video below. Company sent it to me when I was asking for more details.
View the video and decide for yourself whether to save money with it or not. Personally I bought three savers: for my house, for my parents and for my wife’s parents. I think, why should I pay more, if I can pay less legally?
Now we live properly, we are not stealing electricity, but in average we pay 2-2,5 less for our electricity bills! I don’t like wasting money. I’d rather spend them on my wife and children! And my mother-in-law is also very happy with this device. My wife laughs that with this present her mother now loves me more than she loves her own daughter! ☺
Woman Describes Living a Life Knowing Exactly How She’s Going to Die.
A woman with a genetic defect so rare that it doesn’t have a name yet, 42-year-old Joselin Linder is a carrier of what’s known as an “orphan gene,” a genetic defect that could have fatal consequences. Only 14 people have ever had this condition, and they’re all related to Linder. Five of them have died.
“There are days I have to force off my fears in order to get out of bed,” she tells the New York Post in an exclusive interview: “And there are other days when I know that being this near death reminds me how much I love life. It makes every part of every day something I am joyously grateful for.”
The first signs of her illness appeared before any actual symptoms. Her father, a small town Midwestern doctor, passed out, and hit his head after taking some anti-swelling medication. He received stitches for a wound on his head but was sent home with an otherwise clean bill of health.
Then one day at work, he found he couldn’t breathe. An ER doctor inserted a tube into his chest, and out flowed a viscous substance: pure lymph. When lymphatic fluid leaks in the body, it’s a sign of serious illness, but Linder’s father’s condition baffled doctors. After countless tests, they could find no defects in any of his organs.
Linder’s great-aunt provided the answers, in the form of her deceased husband’s medical chart. It revealed that the problem was in their genes, that a genetic defect affects the portal vein in the liver. Sufferers cannot digest protein, and as the condition worsens, they starve to death.
Linder’s father died at 49 years old. His autopsy revealed that after years of pooling of fatty lymph, his organs had essentially fused together.
A year later, Linder and her sister, Hilary, were tested for the disorder. The results came back positive for both of them.
Dr. Christine “Kricket” Seidman diagnosed the Linders and was the person they initially reached out to for help as their father’s health declined. Seidman, a genetics researcher at Harvard University, is now on the hunt for a cure.
Uriel Gets Evicted As Kemen Gets Disqualified From The Show: #BBNaija Live Show 6
It appeared to be a shocking twist for the housemates who spent most of the day in preparation for the night’s live eviction show, when Biggie called the attention of the house to Kemen’s breach of the house rules without, letting it known to the rest of the housemates the reason for his exit, leaving everyone in shock.
A video clip of Kemen’s misbehaviour flooded the cyberspace early on day 42 and Kemen could be seen touching Tboss’ without her consent as it appeared she was totally oblivious of his actions with her being fast asleep.
With Big Brother’s announcement of Kemen’s disqualification, the rest of the #BBNaija housemates had less than 10 minutes to prepare for the Live Eviction Show that saw the exit of Uriel.

Is It Worth Having an Extra-Marital Affair?
Infidelity is perhaps as old as marriage. And, along with the growing tribe of cheating spouses, there are some partners who remain blissfully unaware of any damage to their marriage.
Interestingly, the Infidelity Facts website states that up to 41 per cent of spouses who cheat actually admit to their affair. "It's nothing new, but more in the open now," says Sarika Pilot Chaudhry.
Many, who are prone to experimenting, do it guilt-free as long as they're meeting "responsibilities" in the domestic space. Mrs and Mr Shah were the most perfect couple; they made the most brilliant hosts at parties and seemed inseparable. Later, the husband was seen romancing Nirali in another city. He reasoned, "I love my wife, but since we have been married for so long, I am a bit bored and need that excitement. Nirali is also married, so it's 'safe'! I love it when she accompanies me on an official trip as we can spend time exclusively. I am enjoying it while it lasts."
Expert speak
Psychiatrist Dr Himanshu Saxena believes males by nature are polygamous. He agrees that Indians are more open about expressing their sexuality now. "Often, it's marital disharmony that leads to extra-marital affairs. In arranged marriages, the spouses may not click, and look for options elsewhere. A liberal media and generally more openness with the opposite sex, such as colleagues, bring people closer emotionally and sexually." He adds, "The seven-year itch persists and if marital relations stale, a fresh person appears more interesting."
Pollution Reduces Antibiotic Effectiveness.
The study by researchers at the University of Leicester has important implications for the treatment of infectious diseases, which abound in areas with high levels of air pollution. A major component of air pollution is black carbon.
The research showed that this pollutant changed the way in which bacteria grew and formed community. A January photo shows a statue in Warsaw wearing a mask put on by environmental activists. Smog across coal-addicted Poland has hit crisis levels es, which could affect how they survived on the lining of our respiratory tracts and how well they were able to hide from, and combat, our immune systems.
"Our research could initiate an entirely new understanding of how air pollution affects human health. It will lead to enhancement of research to understand how air pollution leads to severe respiratory problems and perturbs the environmental cycles essential for life," said professor Julie Morrissey .
The research focused on two human pathogens, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
The team found that black carbon altered the antibiotic tolerance of Staphylococcus aureus communities and increased the resistance of communities of Streptococcus pneumoniae to penicillin, the front line treatment of bacterial pneumonia.

FG goes Against MMM, Ultimate Cycler, Other Ponzi Schemes .
The Federal Government’s owned Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) on Friday, said it had mapped out strategies to deal with issues of internet abuses by various forms of Ponzi schemes such as the Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, MMM, Ultimate Cycler, Givers Forum and a lot others.
But Mr Sunday Folayan, the President of NIRA, who made this known in a statement in Lagos, said that the association had established a Law Enforcement Desk to handle complaints on Domain Name abuse. He said that NIRA had also developed an Internal Procedural Process to manage and deal with such complaints received. He said that NIRA would work in conjunction with relevant law enforcement agencies to stem the tide.
”If you discover any form of Internet abuse with .ng websites please send an email to abuse@nira.org.ng. We will deal with it. ”Together we can make the internet safe for us and our children,’’ he said. According to him, most Nigerians are being defrauded by various forms of Ponzi schemes while the fraudsters are operating under various names and platforms.

'Best Ever' View of What a Dinosaur Really Looked Like.
The feathered dinosaur also had bird-like arms similar to wings.
Scientists used high-powered lasers to reveal invisible details of what the creature looked like.
The research could give insights into the origins of flight, which is thought to have evolved more than 150 million years ago.
Michael Pittman of the University of Hong Kong said the study was a landmark in our understanding of the origins of birds.
Bitcoin Price Rises Higher Than Gold, But Don’t Read Too Much Into it.
Gold and bitcoin prices crossed overnight. The crypto currency has set a fresh record high of $1,290.13, while a gold ounce currently trades around $1,228.
Part of the reason for the switch is that gold has had a rough week. The price for the precious metal has fallen more than 2 percent this week, due to the strengthening dollar and several indications from members of the Federal Reserve hinting towards a potential interest rate hike in March.
Meanwhile, the price for the digital currency is up more than 7 percent this week. A recent regulatory clamp down by the People's Bank of Chinahas proven beneficial for bitcoin. Speculation around an imminent decision by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on whether it will approve a bitcoin-based ETF (exchange traded fund) has also created heavy buying pressure.
Looking more broadly, bitcoin has enjoyed a stellar recovery over the past 12 months, climbing more than 214 percent from a low level of $407.98 last March.
In contrast, the price for gold has fallen 1 percent over the past 12 months. Gold prices fell heavily following the result of the U.S. election, but have been recovering steadily since mid-December.
However, while bitcoin prices are climbing, the digital currency has a much lower market cap compared to gold, highlights Fran Strajnar, co-founder & CEO of data and research company Brave New Coin.
Spain Appoints 'Minister For Sex' To Boost Birth Rate.
The government hopes to boost Spain’s falling birth rate, which is one of the lowest in the developed world.
Prime minister Mariano Rajoy appointed Edelmira Barreira as the country’s sex tsar to get Spaniards to produce more babies.
The country is faced with a population crisis, with fewer births than deaths recorded for the first time last year.
Experts say long working hours and a culture of eating late at night and going to bed after midnight are partly to blame for the nation’s sex famine.
Rafael Puyol, of the IE Business School in Madrid, said: “They do not help with making a family. Then when a child arrives it is even worse.”
Since 2008 the number of births in Spain has plunged by 18 per cent.
And the number of childless couples has nearly tripled from 1.5million in 1977 to 4.4million in 2015.
Most Spanish women say they would like two or more children but in 2015 those aged 18 to 49 had an average of 1.3 children

HIV/AIDS: It’s Zero Discrimination Day
Three decades after HIV/AIDS was first properly diagnosed, the medical world has made tremendous progress in stemming the infection rate, with a growing number of infected persons being able to access antiretroviral therapy that has made living with the disease less dangerous.
Again, fewer babies are being born with HIV, thanks to the innovation of prevention of mother-to child transmission; though much remains to be done as the number of newly infected people is still high, and many adults and children who need ART do not have access to it.
Beyond these challenges, experts have continued to decry the stigmatization and discrimination that Persons Living With HIV/AIDS must endure.
Consequently, March 1 of every year has been set aside to secure support for PLWHA, and to end the discrimination inherent towards their condition.
A press release signed by Head, Corporate Communications Unit of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, Mrs. Toyin Aderibigbe, notes that People Living with HIV continue to face various forms of stigma, discrimination, and violations of their rights and dignity, which are barriers to the efforts to scale up access to comprehensive care, treatment, and support.

He described the choice of Praiz as a worthy one, as he has worked with the Big Church Foundation during charity campaigns in the past.’ On his part, Praiz said in a post, ‘It gives me great pleasure to be part of this great team @bigchurchfoundation, empowering the youth, helping the less privileged and physically challenged persons!!
Thank you @bigchurchhaven for having me on board.’ Meanwhile, the presence of the light-skinned beauty at the event raised a lot of unanswered questions. Recall that Dr. Churchill in a recent interview denied having any relationship with Rosaline who was then called his personal assistant . Mr Churchill had claimed that he didn’t have a female PA.
However, this would be Praiz’s first major endorsement this year, which will see him pilot the empowerment of 36,000 youths in Nigeria through the 36 states.
Fufu is killing Africans - Ghanaian Pastor Mensah Otabil Says.
Top Ghanaian pastor, Pastor Mensah Otabil, of the International Central Gospel Church in Ghana, has said that 'fufu' is gradually killing Africans.
Speaking at the national convocation of the 2017 Springboard Roadshow, he highlighted the need for a change in the attitudes of Africans, he also said the process in which fufu is being made was difficult and very unhygienic.
'Any food that if you have to eat you'll have to punish yourself, what's the sense in it? And the annoying thing is when you're pounding, the sweat will be going in and will be mixed, and even in the mortar, there are all kinds of bacteria in the corners. This is an ecosystem for bacteria, 5 years and we are still pounding and people will say, that's what we like.
It's killing us, because you know Africans we don't know what kills us, the thing is killing us but you say it's a witch because we never identify objectively the cause of the problem. Come to think of it, this fufu in this mortar is not sanitized , what impact does it have on our lives?' , he added.

Mark Zuckerberg's Plan to Save the World ... with Facebook
In a nearly 6,000 word manifesto published Thursday, Zuckerberg writes candidly about how Facebook's mission for "building a global community" is contrary to the current political trend toward nationalism in the U.S. and abroad.
"When we began, this idea was not controversial," Zuckerberg writes in the post. "Yet now, across the world there are people left behind by globalization, and movements for withdrawing from global connection."
President Trump campaigned on a platform of stronger borders and rethinking global trade deals and alliances. Across the Atlantic, the U.K. voted to leave the European Union in a clear rejection of globalization.
"There are questions about whether we can make a global community that works for everyone, and whether the path ahead is to connect more or reverse course," Zuckerberg writes.
Zuckerberg has some ideas on how to be more inclusive and informed. The answer he provides, of course, is Facebook.
Zuckerberg describes ambitious plans to use artificial intelligence to crack down on terrorist propaganda, build new tools to "encourage thoughtful civic engagement" and incorporate "additional perspectives and information" in news feeds.
You May Never Have to Plug in Your iPhone Again.
Apple has joined an industry group devoted to wireless charging, strengthening existing rumors that the next iPhone will charge without a cord. The Wireless Power Consortium, which is made up of some 200 organizations that promote a single wireless charging standard, confirmed to CNNTech that Apple joined the group last week.
IPhone rumors swirl months before each new version is announced, and hype around the so-called 'iPhone 8" is particularly high: Apple (AAPL, Tech30) is expected to unveil a major redesign of the this fall to mark the 10-year anniversary of the smartphone.
The company has already shown interest in doing away with cumbersome cords. The Apple Watch charges wirelessly, provided consumers spend $79 on a magnetic charging dock. And the latest MacBook now comes with only one USB port.
Please Stop Charging Your Phone in Public Ports .
That comfort could be shattered by an invisible attacker collecting information while your phone is plugged in to a hacked outlet.
"Just by plugging your phone into a [compromised] power strip or charger, your device is now infected, and that compromises all your data," Drew Paik of security firm Authentic8 explained. Authentic8 makes Silo, a secure browser that anonymizes web activity.
Public charging stations and wi-fi access points are found in places like airports, planes, conference centers and parks, so people can always have access to their phones and data. But connecting your phone to an unknown port has its risks.
The cord you use to charge your phone is also used to send data from your phone to other devices. For instance, when you plug your iPhone into your Mac with the charging cord, you can download photos from your phone to your computer.
If a port is compromised, there's no limit to what information a hacker could take, Paik explained.
That includes your email, text messages, photos and contacts. It's called "juice jacking," a term coined by researchers back in 2011. Last year, the same researchers demonstrated "video jacking," using hacked ports and your phone's video display to record everything you type and look at.

Nokia 3310: Five Reasons Everyone Loves the Classic Nokia Phone Even Today .
There hasn't been a dip in excitement among Nokia fans ever since reports of the imminent launch of a Nokia 3310 refresh first made it to headlines. The news was later corroborated by one of the most prolific phone tipsters in recent times, Evan Blass, who claimed that the new Nokia 3310 will be unveiled at the MWC 2017 trade show later this month.
The Nokia 3310 reboot is widely expected to get a price tag of EUR 59 (roughly Rs. 4,000) which will make it decently priced in the feature phone competition. Out of all the Nokia phones - Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 global availability details - expected to be announced at the MWC 2017, the Nokia 3310 has no doubt become one of the biggest attractions.
When the Nokia 3310 originally launched back in 2000, the phone was promoted to be the best for chatting. The phone was also one of the first to boast of the Nokia Navi Key, which offered easy access to the phone's features.
The excitement around any reincarnation of the Nokia 3310 is such that the Finland-based company was able to pull a prank on consumers with a special Nokia 3310 version with Windows Phone 8 operating software, and 41-megapixel PureView camera back in 2014. Let's look at some of the reasons that make the Nokia 3310, the phone every user wants.
Battery life
The smartphone era may have seen its fair share of innovations in terms of camera, UI, processing power, and features but unfortunately, battery life has taken the biggest hit as mobile communication evolved. The original Nokia 3310 offered a healthy 260 hours of standby time and a decent 4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time for a 1000mAh battery. With the new Nokia 3310, we can expect the era of improved battery life to return.
'Almost' indestructible
The Nokia 3310 is no doubt one of the most iconic Nokia phones ever built. Much like other Nokia feature phones that are known for their durability, reliability, and simplicity, the Nokia 3310 was also considered to be among the sturdiest handsets ever built. The Nokia 3310 could easily survive drops or even accidental water spills. The biggest relief was the handset never required a screen protector unlike modern day phones. With touchscreens dominating smartphones, there has been the fear of phones with cracked screens for users.
Snake II
The Nokia 3310 refresh could mean that the legendary Snake game will make its comeback on a Nokia device. It was one of the most popular mobile games in the 2000s and the Nokia 3310 had it.
Coloured Shells
The Nokia 3310 refresh could also mean the return of the colourful rear shells. To recall, the Nokia 3310 was made available during 2000s in six different colours. Unfortunately, the unibody design has killed the fun of flaunting new coloured rear shells on phones.
Welcome screen
One of the features that I miss on my smartphone is the ability to tweak my welcome screen. Forget iOS, it's rare to find the option to edit your welcome screen this option even in most Android ROMs. The Nokia 3310 could bring that privilege to you.

Pastors Against Retirement Age Are Money Launderers - Tunde Bakare
He described church leaders who oppose the law as “pentecostal charismatic rascals” who want to do whatever they like even if the law says otherwise
Popular pastor, Tunde Bakare has condemned religious leaders who are against the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria Act 2011.
Mr Bakare said church leaders who oppose the law were trying to prevent the public from knowing about acts of money laundering that they had indulge in by virtue of their positions.
“I can testify that the law was explained to kingpins in the church, but now you want to get away because you want to cover your iniquity. You won’t get away with it.
You want to get away because you have laundered money, and you are now trying to cover your yansh”.
Bakare, who is also the Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, praised the law, saying it was good for order and accountability in the church.
“I am a trained lawyer, I have read the law. The law specifically mentioned Chief Imams and pastors, that they can have lifelong terms. But it says you cannot be chief priest, chief treasurer, and chief administrator.”
The convener of the Save Nigeria Group described church leaders who oppose the law as “pentecostal charismatic rascals” who want to do whatever they like even if the law says otherwise.
You don’t want to comply with the law, then why did you register under the law? It is a spirit of lawlessness and the anti-Christ because the anti-Christ is a lawless spirit.”
Bakare who is the serving overseer of The Latter Rain Assembly said; “the fact that I am quiet doesn’t mean I am stupid. I don’t fight useless battles” adding that the law was good for order and accountability in the church.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye had earlier resigned as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God citing the Act as his reason.

2016 Was The Hottest Year On Record -- Again.
Last year was officially the Earth's warmest since record-keeping began in the 1880s, the World Meteorological Organization announced Wednesday morning.
That means 2016 set a global heat record for the third year in a row according to NOAA and NASA, who held a joint press conference on Wednesday to discuss the record.
Not only was this the third consecutive year to rank hotter than all previous years, it also means 16 of the 17 hottest years on record have occurred since 2000, according to NOAA. To put this in perspective, the last time we had a record cold year was 1911.
Temperatures over the Earth's continents and oceans in 2016 were 1.1 degree Celsius (1.98 degrees Fahrenheit) above the pre-industrial average, according to the WMO. That means we are already a majority of the way to the 1.5-degree warming goal set at the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015.
Climate scientists say greenhouse gas pollution, which humans are creating primarily by burning fossil fuels and chopping down rainforests, likely contributed to the 2016 record.
And the pollution certainly is behind the long-term trend toward warming, scientists say.
"(T)he spate of record-warm years that we have seen in the 21st century can only be explained by human-caused climate change," said Michael Mann, director of the Earth Science Center at Pennsylvania State University.
"The effect of human activity on our climate is no longer subtle. It's plain as day, as are the impacts -- in the form of record floods, droughts, superstorms and wildfires -- that it is having on us and our planet."
