I crashed ‘Flying’ from Benin to UK, Says Man Found in Sapele River .

Fuel finished in my ‘private jet.’

A man, who confessed to newsmen that he was ‘flying’ from Benin Airport, Edo State, to attend a meeting in the United Kingdom, before watching a football match going on simultaneously in the coven, also in the United Kingdom, was, yesterday, discovered at Ajogodo River, Sapele, Delta State.

The self-confessed wizard said: “I was flying in with what is known in the physical realm as ‘Plantain Leaf,’ but it is actually my expensive private jet in the coven realm. “It crashed me into this bridge, when the fuel in it finished. My members will be here tonight to refuel it for me, so I can continue my journey to the UK.

“I have to be in the UK to watch football, because there is economic recession, unemployment and inflation in Nigeria.”

Mariah Carey's Fiance James Packer 'was Jealous of Backup Dancer'

Oh boy! Things allegedly got heated between Mariah Carey’s dancer Bryan Tanaka and her fiance James Packer when he sensed them getting a little too close. James even banned Bryan from Caesar’s Palace to keep the hunk away from his girl! Here’s the scoop.

Yikes! Soon after reports surfaced that Mariah Carey, 46, and her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, 33, developed a relationship while she was fighting with her fiance James Packer, 49, more details have come out about the dramatic situation, and it’s pretty crazy!

TMZ reports that James started to notice something was funky between Mariah and Bryan when Bryan showed up to her Vegas show on a night that he wasn’t performing because of an injury. Seeing the hunky dancer there sent James into a rage, allegedly bringing Bryan into a room and screaming at him.

The report says that things got so wild, that James used his pull in Vegas to keep Bryan far away from his fiancee by banning him from Caesars Palace! That’s a huge deal to a man who makes his living dancing for celebrities’ shows. Mariah allegedly didn’t fight James’ wishes because Bryan is currently injured and can’t perform anyway, and that since she thinks James is “mentally unstable,” she was scared to go against him!

Kaffy: Dancer Express Remorse for Insulting Davido.

Kaffy has issued an apology for her rant and the use of profanity.
The popular dancer took to Instagram in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 to issue a harsh message to the Nigerian artiste for allegedly firing some dancers.

In a video post, Kaffy said Davido had fired some dancers as they were about to take the stage after practicing for weeks and him agreeing to work with them.

She has now apologised for her words via Instagram.
In her post she apologized for her profanity and said it was time for people to start respecting dancers. She posted an image of herself with other dancers with the caption:

"I want to start by apologizing profusely for my profanity. It's not how I roll .i am one person who promote discipline and respect among dancers towards their clients and one another.

However this issue is REAL. We MATTER and deserve respect as we have become part of the building block of the entertainment world. We communicate with our bodies what words and sound can't express. We paint a picture that defies laws of nature ND produce masterpieces beyond mere imaginations.

It requires a lot of brainpower to begin to be a dancer not to talk of the ability to command muscles people can't imagine using and that is still underrating the Power of the Art of Dance.

From youth empowerment to mind empowerment it is the least looked into form of psychological, physical and spiritual reformation.

And I can categorically tell u a lot of lives have been changed for the better because we danced.

So WE MATTER. beyond the dance floor we matter against all odds of societal definition of success we matter, thrive and we rule.

So it is time we take control and have a voice. Create structure that will protect us from further disrespect and I will do all in my power to continue to protect dancers.I know great minds out there in our world that will rise up too. It's been years and I have been quiet for too long.

And this is not just in Africa it's everywhere. Davido was just the last straw. It didn't start with him but we can put a stop. Thank you to all who support this fight. God bless."

SoulSearch on Fresh105.9Fm..

I met Queen (as fondly called by all) during our service days in Kwara State at the Orientation Camp. She was so innocent in all things, that you will wonder how she made it through her University. I love her just the way she is and was ready to accept her that way.

We were good lovers for the one year we spent together in Ilorin Town. After service we both returned to join our parents in Lagos and we planned to take our relationship to the next level. One day she called me up and told me her mum will like to meet me that she has told her a lot about me. I was so happy to hear that and we agreed on the next weekend because of our work.

I went to visit her parent last week, they were good people, her father was very nice and welcoming but I was surprised when Queen called me two days ago to tell me that she cannot continue with the relationship because her mum said she does not like me.
She said "I love you so much, but I cannot go ahead if my mum does not like you".

Pls what can I do?

Seun Kuti Screams ‘Gimme My Vote Back’ In This New Politically Charged Music Video.

Seun Kuti‘s back with a banger.

Nigeria’s afrobeat torchbearer is sharing a new music video for “Gimme My Vote Back,” the first video from his new Struggle Sounds EP with Egypt 80.

“Gimme My Vote Back (C.P.C.D.)” is a politically-charged track that speaks about the inefficiency of government and politicians—C.P.C.D. stands for Corporate Public Control Department.

“Every few years politicians come. They come from the left and come from the right,” Seun sings in the new single. “They come with them party and their media. With their same lies and promises… they come with their politics of hate and them take and divide us.”

It’s a poignant message that could work for the current political situation in Nigeria, as well as this insane American presidential election.

“More than ever we are convinced of our mission and the purpose of our music,” Seun mentions about his new release. “The Struggle Sounds EP is a true reflection of my social and political beliefs. I give honor to my parents and every revolutionary who made this possible even before I was born.”

The new EP was co-produced by Robert Glasper, who also helped produce Seun’s last album A Long Way To The Beginning.

President Obama Dancing to Drake's Hotline Bling with Usher at The White...

And Usher caught the iconic moment on film…
Barack Obama has reminded us that he’s the ‘cool dad’ of politics on numerous occasions. Who doesn’t remember his epic mic drop during the final White House correspondents’ dinner to the words, ‘Obama out’?

Regularly caught catching up with A-list besties including Kanye West, Beyoncé and Jay Z, there’s nobody we’ve ever wanted to hang out with more. And most recently, he’s been spotted partying with Usher.

This weekend, Barack hosted the final music-based event of his presidency on the South Lawn of the White House. The BET’s Love and Happiness, drew a crowd of famous faces including Usher, who just so happened to capture one of Barack’s greatest presidential moments to date.

Why Drake's New Songs Are So Disappointing to Fans.

The night before his 30th birthday, Drake returned with what was supposed to be a birthday present for fans, debuting three new songs and announcing that his next new project More Life would drop in December.

Along with a remix of Wanna Know by UK rapper Dave, Drake premiered Fake Love,Sneakin' and Two Birds One Stone on his OVO Sound Apple Music show. And the three songs encapsulate the good, bad and ugly of being a longtime Drake fan in 2016, with one song enjoyable, another forgettably mediocre, and the final track enough to turn some listeners off altogether.

The first two songs, Fake Love and Sneakin', are tidy archetypes of the two songs Drake seems to keep making nowadays: his Hotline Blings, represented by Fake Love's singsongy vocals and vaguely dancehall drums; and his more ominous, Pop Style-eque tracks, like his unremarkable 21 Savage collaboration Sneakin'.
But Two Birds sparked immediate outrage online, and made headlines the morning after its release, for its reference to Kid Cudi, a rapper who's currently in rehab seeking help with “depression and suicidal urges.” And it's the song that fans need to listen most closely to.

The good: Fake Love

Drake does his best Travis Scott impression on Fake Love, his voice sounding vaguely mechanical as he sings about trust issues (one of his very favorite topics) over a Hotline Bling-reminiscent beat.

We Are Still Awaiting the Change You Promised – Comedian, AY tells FG

Renowned stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has called on the Federal Government to make happen the change it promised about curbing piracy in the entertainment industry.

The rib cracker said security measures must be put to work before this can be achieved.
Speaking with Encomium, the ’30 days in Atlanta’ actor said, “The challenge of piracy is alarming. Piracy worldwide is not only in Nigeria. It is really bad.

“Before you put your work in the cinema, it is already pirated. Good enough, they allowed me to enjoy 30 days in Atlanta for 30 days. We have done our cinema runs, we have worked out our modalities, though we cannot totally take it out of the picture.

“There would always be somebody who will sell out. I am hoping the Federal Government would apply the change they talked about in the movie industry too.
“I live in fear knowing that my movie would be released. We believe the security measures we have put in place would work,” he said.

Speaking further, the father of one said the reason why a lot of comedians are going into movie production was not because stand-up comedy was dying.

According to him, “No, if you say stand-up comedy is dying because comedians are going into acting, you would be getting it wrong, it would mean Hollywood is dead. We can’t say that, Steve Havey was doing stand up comedy before now, he is still doing movies as well.

“Everything is about entertainment. I love to be an encompassing show biz person. The only thing I know I wouldn’t venture into is music. I know I can’t sing to save my life,” the Master of Ceremonies, MC, quipped.

Bad Posture For Long Hours Contributing to Osteoarthritis Among Youth.

As the number of youth suffering from osteorthritis continues to surge globally, health experts on Wednesday said that wrong postures for long durations was the biggest contributor to the disease. According to them, the issue was important because scientifically no amount of exercise or therapy can undo the problems caused by hours of bad posture a day.

“Maintaining a right posture is a serious health business; so much so that a bad posture can ultimately result in serious morbidity. Right posture doesn’t simply mean sitting up straight. Posture refers to the alignment of your spine with all its adjoining structures,” said Yash Gulati, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedics, Apollo Hospital.

Fitness Apps Alone Will Not Help Teenagers Stay in Shape.

With fitness apps, the press of a button on smartphone can help you record daily calorie consumption and exercise but they alone cannot motivate you enough to lose and maintain weight loss in the long term, say researchers.

In a 24-week behavioural study that combined traditional weight control intervention with smartphone-assisted helps, researchers found that teenagers lost weight initially, but could not maintain it when smartphones were the only tool helping them stay on track.

Combining fitness apps with social support and accountability are the key, the study said.

“We know that teenagers are on their phones, which gives us a way to intervene in the moment,” said lead author Chad Jensen, Professor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, US.

“We wanted to determine whether we could effectively use texting and a commercially-available smartphone app to help adolescents with weight loss,” Jensen noted.

Attacks on The Internet Keep Getting Bigger, Nastier- #Becareful.

Members of a shadowy hacker group that calls itself New World Hackers claimed responsibility for the attack via Twitter, though that claim could not be verified.

Could millions of connected cameras, thermostats and kids’ toys bring the internet to its knees? It’s beginning to look that way. On Friday, epic cyberattacks crippled a major internet firm, repeatedly disrupting the availability of popular websites across the United States. The hacker group claiming responsibility says that the day’s antics were just a dry run and that it has its sights set on a much bigger target. And the attackers now have a secret weapon in the increasing array of internet-enabled household devices they can subvert and use to wreak havoc.

Meet the fire hose
Manchester, New Hampshire-based Dyn Inc. said its server infrastructure was hit by distributed denial-of-service, or DDoS, attacks. These work by overwhelming targeted machines with junk data traffic _ sort of like knocking someone over by blasting them with a fire hose. The attack temporarily blocked some access to popular websites from across America and Europe such as Twitter, Netflix and PayPal.

Jason Read, founder of the internet performance monitoring firm CloudHarmony, owned by Gartner Inc., said his company tracked a half-hour-long disruption early Friday affecting access to many sites from the East Coast. A second attack later in the day spread disruption to the West Coast as well as some users in Europe.

Any Policeman Checking Vehicle Particulars is on illegal Duty– AIG

Mr Dan Bature, an Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police in Charge of Zone 11 comprising Oyo, Osun and Ondo states, says any policeman checking vehicle particulars on the highways is on illegal duty.

He said that the duty of the police was not to check vehicle particulars but to ensure safer roads.
Bature warned policemen against blocking high ways, saying police patrol vehicles were not supposed to be toll gates.
He said the Inspector General of Police (IGP) was committed to changing the negative image of the police and supporting the anticorruption war of the Federal Government.

Emirates to Quit African Cities Over Dollar Debts From Low Oil.

Gulf airline Emirates said it could scrap flights to African locations as economies there falter following the oil-price collapse and governments withhold ticket revenues to shore up foreign currency reserves.

The biggest carrier on international routes may “cut frequencies and possibly even cities” amid the currency crunch and commercial difficulties in some markets, President Tim Clark said Tuesday in Dubai, where Emirates is based.

“Certain African countries have seen their currency really go down, it’s not a very good idea to continue there,” Clark said in a briefing at an International Air Transport Association event. “We are reflecting on a number of those.”

Nigeria alone owed Emirates $680 million as of early September, Clark has said, with carriers including United Airlines and Spain’s Iberia having already halted flights. The repatriation of dollars from Africa’s most populous nation has been limited since the drop in crude prices eroded the value of oil exports and reduced foreign-currency reserves to the lowest in over a decade.

IATA has said that the dollar reserves of Sudan, Egypt and Angola are also of concern to its members. Emirates serves all three countries, as well as Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria, though Clark didn’t specify which markets were most at risk.

U.S. carriers have separately asked that the federal government grant them permission to collectively discuss ways of retrieving $3.8 billion from Venezuela, which has halted the repatriation of past ticket sales in response to the oil-price pinch.

112 Million Nigerians Live Below Poverty Line.

No fewer than 112million Nigerians now live below poverty level as global poor hits one billion mark. According to the latest poverty report by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, about 112 million Nigerians (representing 67.1 per cent) of the country's total population of 167million.

Meanwhile as the world yesterday marked International Day for Eradication of Poverty, International Labour Organisatiion, ILO, has raised the alarm that number of poor people in the world has hit the one billion mark.

In a statement to mark the occasion, ILO Director-General, Guy Ryder, said though Work should be the best route out of poverty, but 327 million working men and women live in extreme poverty and 967 million in moderate and near poverty.

According to him: "These figures, unacceptable as they are, do not relay the deep human cost of poverty, which restricts access to the most fundamental of needs. It robs individuals of their dignity and increases vulnerability to hunger, physical and mental illness, human rights abuses and exclusion.

It is important therefore that the theme of this year's International Day for the Eradication of Poverty focuses on Moving from humiliation and exclusion to participation: Ending poverty in all its forms "Humiliation and exclusion are drivers of poverty, as well as consequences of it.

Discrimination, whether based on gender, ethnicity, sexuality or other grounds can lead to exclusion and restricts pathways out of poverty. Extreme natural events and conflict can lead abruptly to the upheaval of lives and increased vulnerability to exclusion and poverty.

We, all of us, have the right to participate in society and enjoy the dignity it brings. Access to decent work opportunities for all is the most effective way to increase participation, lift people out of poverty, reduce inequality and drive economic growth."

Priyanka Chopra Sorry for Conde Nast Cover 'Insulting Refugees'

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has apologised after being criticised for modelling an "insensitive" top on a Conde Nast Traveller magazine cover.

The top has the words "migrant", "refugee" and "outsider" crossed out while the word "traveller" stands out.

Both the actress and Conde Nast were criticised over the "privileged" message, with many pointing out that being a refugee was "not a choice".

Conde Nast told the BBC their intention was to highlight labelling of people.

Chopra told India's NDTV news channel "I'm really apologetic about sentiments being hurt. I have always been against labels. I am very affected and feel really horrible, but the message has been misconstrued.

"The magazine was very clear that they wanted to send a message about addressing xenophobia with labels."'We are all travellers'

Kenya is Forcing All Government Employees to Fly on its Struggling National Carrier.

“Operation pride,” the ambitious campaign to turn around Kenya’s flailing flagship airline, Kenya Airways, has new support. The government has ordered all state officials to fly only on airlines registered in the country—like Kenya Airways—when traveling for public business or spending taxpayer funds, according to a statement from the cabinet.

The airline, which calls itself “the pride of Africa,” is one of the largest carriers in the region and was once considered a standard bearer of African carriers with ambitious international aspirations. But for the past four years, Kenya Airways has reported losses, suffering from a poorly timed expansion, competition from cash-rich Middle Eastern carriers, mismanagement, and pilot defections.

The airline, 30%-owned by the Kenyan government, has been cutting jobs, reducing its fleet, and is considering selling a stake in itself in an effort to return to profitability.

The government’s new “Fly Kenya Policy” comes amid the threat of crippling strikes. The Kenya Airline Pilots Association said that its members will strike for seven days starting Oct. 18 if top Kenya Airways executives do not resign. The government has condemned the threat, calling it an act of “economic sabotage.”

The company says its turnaround efforts are working. Half-year earnings to be released later this month are expected to show a net loss of 5 billion shillings ($49 million), an improvement on its 12 billion shillings loss a year earlier. The strike could derail this progress, and is “unjustified and uncalled for,” the airline said in a statement.

If the strike goes ahead, the gains from enforced government travel will count for little (planes don’t go far without pilots, after all). According to Kenya Airways, a pilot strike in April over cost the airline $2 million a day.

Nigerian President: My Wife Belongs To My kitchen.

Some Peaceful Countries In The World Without Armed Forces.

All of us know how important is a military force for a country. However, there are few countries that have been without any armed force for years.

Take a look.
A military force protects you from any possible attack from other countries or even terrorists. An efficient armed force is pretty essential to protect the borders.

Technically, every country should have a standing military force but there are few countries in the world who believe that 'War is Hell' and hence, they do not keep any military force in their country.

Let's look at some of the countries that have been living without any armed forces:

Costa Rica.
In 1948, after its victory in the civil war, the country put an end to having any armed force. Every year, Costa Rica celebrates Army Abolition Day on December 1. The police force currently handles the internal security of the country.

Vatican City.
The smallest country in the world, Vatican City used to have many armed forces to protect the pope and the country but Pope Paul VI abolished all the forces in 1970. However, since the little country is located in Rome, Italy protects the Vatican City.

Iceland.
Iceland had an army in 1869 but after that, the country had defense agreements with the U.S. to maintain an Iceland Defense Force that existed from 1951-2006. In 2006, America announced that it will provide Iceland its security without any stationed forces in the country.

Kiribati.
A nation of three group of islands, Kiribati, is another country with no standing army. The nation has a defence assistance from Australia and New Zealand along with its own Kiribati Police Service.

Grenada.
The country was invaded by the United States in the year 1983, and since then Grenada has not had a standing army in its service. A paramilitary force as part of the Royal Grenada Police Force works on internal security.

Andorra
Under a separate military treaty, Andorra receives protection from Spain and France but has no standing military force. Andorra does have a small army for special ceremonies. Laws in the nation are handled by the National Police Corps.

Palau.
The Republic of Palau, located in the North Pacific Ocean, which became a sovereign state and established diplomatic relations with the US in 1994, operates no regular military, but signed a Compact of Free Association (COFA) with the US.

The Palau National Police operates a Pacific-class patrol boat for maritime patrol and fisheries control along the 1,519km-long coastline. Australia donated the boat and also provides training for the crew.
Independent State of Samoa.
The Independent State of Samoa (previously known as Western Samoa) occupies an area of 2,831km2 on two main islands of Upolu and Savai'i and seven small islands. It has had no standing army since becoming independent from New Zealand in 1962.

The Samoan Police manages internal security and border protection in close cooperation with the New Zealand defence forces. The Samoa Police and Prison Service (SPS) has a force of more than 500 personnel. The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) operates maritime surveillance flights to safe guard territorial waters.

Happy World Egg Day 2016:Why You Should Eat Egg.

Protein has a crucial role to play in various bodily processes. It is vital for building strength as well as muscles. It also aids in maintaining a smooth immune system and the division and regulation of cells and hormones. It is a nutrient essential for the overall maintenance of the body. Eggs are one of the finest and best quality sources of protein.

Their daily consumption can help you meet a significant part of your daily protein requirement. One of the best things about eggs is that they can cooked without any hassle or culinary training. Some of the simplest egg preparations would require just oil, salt and pepper
From a wide range of delectable omelets to the beautiful Egg Benedict, sunny side ups and the many regional variants - there is so much that has already been done with eggs and much more that awaits your experimentation.

Eggs are omnipresent across the world in various cuisines. While the Chinese and the Japanese enthusiastically include eggs in a variety of their stir fries, other parts of the world incorporate these pockets of protein in the form of curries, sandwiches, rolls, in biryanis and rice preparations and of course, for baking.

Health Benefits of Eggs:
1. Eggs are loaded with protein.
2. They also come packed with other essential micronutrients like iron, selenium, iodine, choline, folic acid, Vitamin A, B2, B12, D and E.
3. Regular consumption of eggs helps boost the good cholesterol or HDL
4. Lutein and Zeaxanthin, types of antioxidants present in eggs are excellent for one'seyesight

Tips for Buying and Cooking Eggs:
Tip 1:You can tell whether or not an egg is boiled by spinning it. If it spins easily, consider it to be cooked, it is still raw if it doesn't spin easily.
Tip 2: Also, try adding just a teaspoon of lemon juice while boiling eggs - a fuss-free way to peel the shell.
Tip 3:Want fluffy, feather-light, melt-in-your-mouth eggs scramble? Whisk it well with a tad bit of milk.
Tip 4: To check if an egg is spoilt, put it in a bowl of cold water. If it lays flat at the bottom, it's perfectly fresh. If it rises from one end but still touches the bottom from another, it isn't so fresh but can still be consumed. A spoilt one will rise and float at the top.

Nigeria’s Politicians are Militants; They Live Reckless Lives – Jega

Immediate past Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, has accused Nigerian politicians of living extravagant lives.

According to him, one of the biggest challenges confronting the commission is the reckless mindset of politicians, who believe that winning an election is a do-or-die affair.

Jega, made history in 2015 after he presided over the commission that conducted the first election to unseat a sitting president in Nigeria.
Jega spoke in Lagos on Saturday at the 50th birthday ceremony of the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN).

He delivered a paper entitled, “Challenges and prospects of sustainable credible elections in Nigeria.”
Jega said, “INEC, as an election management body, faced perhaps its greatest challenge containing the predisposition and reckless mindset of Nigerian politicians. I quite often say that Nigeria has a special breed of politicians – ‘militicians’.

American R&B star Chris Brown broke a fan's mobile phone when she tried to take a selfie with the singer on his arrival at the Moi International Airport, Mombasa, on Saturday
Speaking to the Nation, the fan, who said she was “deeply disappointed by the artiste’s action,” wondered why Brown, a renowned singer, grabbed her phone and threw it away, landing on the floor.
“I was with my friends and was trying to take a selfie when he grabbed the phone from the back. I was shocked.
"I have a ticket for the show but I won’t attend it. Brown should know that we like his songs but he has to respect his fans,” she said.
“I bought my iPhone 6 last month at Sh90,000 and seeing it being tossed off like a mulika mwizi (a cheap feature phone) was bad.
"Although it is only the screen protector and back cover that broke, I cannot imagine how I would have felt had it been damaged,” added the fan, who said she did not want her name mentioned.
Mr Brown had just landed in Mombasa for his much anticipated show tonight.
A ticket to the show is going for Sh5,000 per person.

Michael Jackson's Thriller Songwriter Has Died Aged 66.

Rod Temperton, the songwriter behind Michael Jackson's Thriller and Rock With You, has died aged 66. Temperton died of cancer last week, according to Jon Platt, chairman and chief executive of Warner/Chappell.
"His family is devastated and request total privacy at this, the saddest of sad times," said Mr Platt, adding that the funeral was private. Temperton, also a record producer and keyboard player, began his career as a member of the disco band Heatwave. For the group, he wrote the 1970s hits Always And Forever and Boogie Nights.

Over the course of a career that spanned decades, he worked with the likes of Anita Baker, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin, the Brothers Johnson and Mariah Carey, among others. But he was best known for his work with Jackson. He wrote songs for Off The Wall, the critically acclaimed album from 1979, and later for Thriller, including the title track and its title. "I... wrote two or three hundred titles and came up with Midnight Man. I woke up the next morning and I said this word, Thriller," he once said. "Something in my head just said, 'This is the title'.

You could visualise it at the top of the Billboard charts." Thriller, released in 1982, remains the best-selling album of all time. Temperton is said to have come up with most of the title track in the back of a taxi on his way to the studio. Other highlights include Give Me The Night and Sweet Freedom.

Temperton also received an Oscar nomination with Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones for a song, called Miss Celie's Blues, they co-wrote for the Steven Spielberg movie The Color Purple. Born in the town of Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, Temperton shunned the limelight despite huge success and properties across the world, including on Mulholland Drive, the Los Angeles street lined with celebrities' mansions. He was sometimes referred to as the "invisible Man", said Mr Platt. Temperton said: "I watch telly, catch up on the news, and maybe the phone will ring."

Although she has never hidden the fact that she longs to become a man, she excitedly revealed to her 3,503 followers on Instagram that her transition begins today.

As a build up to her final identity as a man, Ila, whose mantra is, ‘I came in like a lamb, but I intend to leave like a lion’, is always clad in only male clothing and footwear. In addition, she has since begun taking male hormones, which has seen her breasts gradually diminish and her voice huskier.
Despite the entire uproar about her daughter’s new identity, her mum, Sade, hasn’t publicly acknowledged Ila’s transition.
