Julius Agwu was Never on Admission at UK hospital, Lewisham

 

Reports had surfaced on Monday morning that Agwu suffered a relapse of his brain tumour which he underwent surgery for last year.
Agwu was said to have been admitted into Lewisham hospital, however, TheCable Lifestyle has learnt that no such admission occured.

“We have no one by that name in Lewisham hospital. No one was admitted into our hospital by that name”, a representative of the hospital informed our reporter.
Even after providing Julius Agwu’s date of birth, the hospital representative said there was no record of the entertainer being admitted into the hospital in the past week.
“Are you sure it is Lewisham hospital? I’ve gone through the admission record and there’s no Julius Agwu here”, she added.

The film will focus on the career of Tupac Shakur all the way to the fatal drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.

Officer who sued force after he was compared to Osama Bin Laden is SACKED for intimidating witness

The hearing was told the Solihull-based constable, from Small Heath, pleaded guilty to witness intimidation and common assault before Birmingham Magistrates Court last month.
Chief Constable David Thompson, who led the hearing, said a key role of policing was protecting the integrity of the criminal justice process.
He found the officer guilty of gross misconduct and described his breaches of professional standards as “very serious”.

In a keynote address he delivered at the third international conference organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Shevel, who is the President of Galilee Institute, Israel and a member of Israeli Prime Minister’s committee on Social Policy, described education as the future for any nation because of its ripple effect on all sectors of human endeavour.

Netflix had the perfect response to the so-called 'Netflix of North Korea

 

Netflix (the real one) isn't too worried about the so-called "Netflix of North Korea" that was announced last week.
State-run North Korean media unveiled a new set-top box last Tuesday called "Manbang" — which translates to "everywhere" or "every direction" — that purportedly beams propaganda-on-demand to homes inside the Hermit Kingdom.

It's basically like an Apple TV with the Netflix app installed, except Manbang has far fewer viewing options with only five channels, none of which include the hit "Stranger Things." There's some debate among North Korea-watchers as to whether the device simply streams live television channels, or if it actually plays what a user requests on demand.

Still, Netflix doesn't seem to mind the somewhat spurious comparison. When asked what the service thought of its new competitor, Netflix told Business Insider: "We are bummed we didn't think of that name first."
It also changed its Twitter bio on Wednesday to give all credit to Manbang for its innovation:

Only MTV would consider giving its top career achievement award to Rihanna, who, at 28, is the same age as many just starting out.
Of course, the MTV Video Music Awards are nothing if not unconventional.

The awards show, which takes over Madison Square Garden for the first time on Aug. 28, has always been better known for Miley Cyrus introducing twerking to the American mainstream or Madonna sharing a full-on kiss with Britney Spears than for who won what award.
So, in a way, honoring Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award simply continues the tone the VMAs have always set.


“The Video Vanguard is about a body of work, but it doesn’t have to be at the culmination of one’s career,” explains Garrett English, executive producer of the show and MTV’s senior vice president of programming, events and live production. “It’s about the scope of her career, and the scope of her impact is massive.”

Though plans for her performance remain under wraps, Rihanna tweeted that she was honored to receive the award. English says Rihanna may be taking inspiration from Justin Timberlake’s tightly scripted, 15-minute career retrospective that he delivered with no breaks at Barclays Center in 2013.

Extra’s” AJ Calloway sat down with Taraji P. Henson on the set of “Empire” in Chicago, where she dished on the third season.
Rumors have been swirling that a character will die in the new season. Taraji confirmed the reports, saying, “Yeah, someone dies.”
As for how everyone in the cast found out about the character's death, she revealed, "They send us the script and then everybody's calling each other like… ‘What? What? What?' And then you have to wait till September 21.”
